I’m not sure if anything gets me as excited as new games.
This delivery was a real test, with the knowledge that there was a high likelihood that within a couple of weeks I would be forced to do a shot just to keep each of the newly acquired games. That aside, I am super keen for new games! This delivery covers my black Friday purchases, where I broke the $1000 mark on a single order. Doing some rough calcs to figure out my total spending of the year, this is my board game spending relative to income.
I realise that 6.22% is probably a little too high of a percentage of income to spend on board games, and I am working on lowering this number. Not by buying less games of course, simply by being paid more.
Today marks my last work day of the calendar year allowing me to spend more time with my beloved games. Conceding that not all games will be played by the 25th, the goal is to hit another 40 over these 4 days.
